Will your children be riding a school bus for the first time this September?
They can learn about bus safety and take a ride on a bus at STSCO’s First Rider program.

All young school bus riders and their families are welcome to attend STSCO’s annual First Rider programs.

Each session lasts approximately 30 minutes and includes a safety video and a 10-minute bus ride for children and parents.
The First Rider program is offered by Student Transportation Services of Central Ontario (STSCO) and local school bus operators at no cost.
STSCO transports students from the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board, the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic
District School Board, and the Conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir.

If you are unable to attend the in-person First Rider Program offered above, please review the video below with your child to prepare them to ride the bus safely.
It's recommended that parents print and review the following documents with their new bus rider to help them learn how to safely and enjoyably ride the bus to and from school:
